If we all do our part think of the difference we can make
Hundreds of thousands of innocent lives end in cruel barbaric bloodshed by 6000
people with whom we share our country and who we should share our national spirit.
It’s hard to imagine for most of us that we share anything at all with such opposing views of
life. They don’t act alone, this is possible with the promotional campaigning of our
Federal and East Coast Provincial Governments along with the confusing and questionable
behaviors of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Most Canadian People have
declared their support ending the hunt. The Canadian people say it is cruel, torturous and
outdated. With the overwhelming support from individual people, entire countries and
organizations around the world we the Canadian people need to make it clear to the Federal
Government, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, The Senate, and the Sealers themselves
and the purchasing countries of our seal exports that we are done asking for the seal slaughter
to end in Canada. Asking and waiting for the true compassionate Canadian values to be
shown to our wildlife has yet to happen.Asking and waiting has done our parents
and grandparents no results. And for over 2 decades, contrary to the worlds growing
distaste for fur causing plummeting markets, we are also being ignored. We ask no more!
Thank you for coming to support our Canadian Seals!
If we all do our part think of the difference we can make.
When we succeed, chances are the rest of the sealing countries may become so
pressured that it is necessary for them to stop
allowing sealers to slaughter their seals & pups.

The sad reality is, the disturbing images are real & the disgusting

the truth. We need to be educated on the unspeakable & undeserving
animal cruelty in the world in order to make a difference.
government-sponsored cruelty
As an otherwise proud Canadian, I lower my head in Shamefor the slaughter of newborn and unborn Seal Pups and their Parents in the bloody massacre of what our country calls a HUNT !
You will read here what our Federal Government, Dept of FIsheries and Oceans Canada and the Brutal Baby Beaters don't want the good Canadian People or the World to know! ....the truth.
Court Documents released by court order
under Federal Law: Freedom of Information’s Act.
Testimony Admitting that Laws aren't followed. Time and time again although laws were broken Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans were aware of the violations and they turned their heads.
Testimonies from East Coast sealers state it was Business As Usual for the sealers to kill the males and pregnant females, spilling the pup and afterbirth out onto the ice as the mom's warm milk spills out of her. They then leave the babies on the frigid ice to starve slowly as the boat drifts away with his parents.
Sometimes Sealer’s kill the unborn pups as well, or toss them still alive into the sub zero waters to freeze or drown as they slit their mother open and peel her for her pelt.
Sealers admit, often they would leave suffering dying seals in net bags on the boats until the end of the day, when they are skinned. Often by days end, the pregnant females would have her dead seal pup inside them, dead most likely from anoxia. Go to Bottom of Page
Don't let the Skull and Cross Bones Fool You. Upon the ship that flies this flag is a true group of selfless Hero's. To Canadians in the central to west region they are a sigh of relief, to marine & wildlife everywhere they are that second chance, to the Canadian East Coast Swingers Association, they are just a pain in the ass. They are the Sea Shepard Conservation Society ! They are a not for profit association based out of Washington. They are led by Captain Paul Watson, who has been fighting for the rights of aquatic animals all over the world. Captain Watson is the Founder and Master and Commander for the Sea Shepard Society. For over 40 years he has made a mission of saving the marine life of this world from man's devestation. Captain Watson sails with a Crew of Volunteers, who dedicate their time to advocating for wildlife and marine life at extraordinary levels.
The Sea Shepard has come up to the East Coast for many years, along with other Outstanding Wildlife Organizations during the seal hunt. They aren't here to hunt, they are here to simply show the hunters of our baby seals that there are eyes on them. Rules and regulations are lax and obsurd to begin with and obviously not upheld by our Govt., but it’s not the Government , local Law Enforcement, Canadian Coast Guard or DFO that is the concern to the sealer's. Their concern and that of our Govt is the coverage. For people to see the details of this barbaric event. What actually takes place: the snatching of moms away from newborn pups as they nurse, leaving newborns to die of starvation and tossing them in the water, as they cut the penises out of the males, and so on... The media, the outrage, the frenzy that they could flare with the footage, documentation, photos, eye witnessed accounts of brutally inhumane slaughter, etc. Thus, causing an uproar of emotion about this hanous annual festival of baby blood in the east coast. Well I say Bravo!to the dedicated crew from Sea Shepard, they have continued fighting and done just that.
Our Government forbids this spectating and passes it off to media as "Interference" as do the hunters. The presence of unwelcome animal advocates would mean they would at minimum need to follow the so called rules of the gruesome event, or risk the hunt's future, further. Rule play or not, It's more disturbing than I would have ever believed. The Crew of the Sea Shepard's great ship, the FARLEY MOWAT have gone far and beyond in the fight of defending the lives of our Seals. Yet, always upholding the laws governed by Canada and Canadian Coast Guards alike, which seems to be something the DFO and hunters of the seal pups can't even do. The crew of the Sea Shepard have put themselves in the line of fire between seal nurseries with thousands of Seal Mama’s nursing their baby’s and the East Coast Sealing Ships. The Ship of the Sea Shepard blockaded sealing ships in the harbour of St. JohnsNewfoundland back in 1983, costing the sealer's precious time as the season was coming to a close. This directly resulted in saving 76,000 seals from mass execution and succeeded in annoying the hell out of the many ships of fools. A small victory as compared to the millions upon millions lost to the intentional trauma of the event, but an enormous victory for the Seals and the millions upon billions of us who treasure our wildlife. In the spring of 2005, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the seals had the support of the Sea Shepherd ship Farley Mowat, yet again. The ship’s crew was joined by crews from the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) who flew by helicopter to the ice when weather permitted. The advantage the ship gave to Sea Shepherd was the ability to stay with the sealers in the ice despite the weather. On a sad note, in the ice floes of Eastern Canada, that year they were not able to stop the slaughter, but no one can say it wasn’t a successful journey. What they did do was to elevate international public and media awareness of the slaughter. The Canadian government was forced on the defensive. Eleven of there crew were arrested for filming seal killers without permission from the government. These arrests will give them the opportunity to challenge these censorship regulations as violations of the Canadian Constitution and the Charter of Rights.
“Despite the regulations and despite attempts by the Canadian government to prevent us from entering the ice floes, we did break our way into the floes and we were able to block and annoy the sealers. We were there as the eyes and ears of the world community to document the lies continuously spewed forth by the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans. The Canadian Government claims that the seals are killed humanely." The Sea Shepard have witnessed and currently have documentation to prove this is absolutely a lie.Like we would even need more proof.Assuming of course the Sealers aren’t complete idiots as well as barbaric. There are video images and very up close pictures of the slaughter of the seal hunt floating around the internet? If it were not a sealer who did this this? wuddn me! They can keep saying that all they like.
The Canadian government states that they do not subsidize the "hunt." This is a lie, brought to light by the Canadian Coast Guard breaking ice to lead sealing ships through to the Nurseries of Seal families, this was eye witnessed by the Sea Shepard crew also. [see Sea Shepard story Parade of Fools] The crew of the Farley Mowat documented another cruel act in play by yet another trusted Canadian name“During bad weather, the Coast Guard were extremely busy rescuing sealers whose ships became locked in the ice. We documented the Canadian Coast Guard ship running down and crushing seals in the ice.Documented hostile sealers viciously attacking our crew on the ice.Canadian Government spent hundreds of thousands trying to make sure we did not take any pictures of seals being killed.Their Coast Guard vessel, Amundsen, kept close watch on us - sometimes, dangerously close. Last year marked the first time in history that an anti-sealing vessel has gone to the Labrador Front to challenge the sealers. We were also the only organization in the world opposing the slaughter in the field off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. All previous campaigns have been in the Gulf of St. Lawrence…”read more…
They have been assaulted by the Sealers, mistreated by the Coast Guard, arrested and held for bail by the RCMP and had their ship confiscated by Canadian our Government Authorities, but they always come back. For our Seals & Pups and they ask for nothing just for it to stop.

Yesterday, the ProtectSeals team rose at 5 am to fly out to film the slaughter that we expected to start early in the morning. But when we arrived at the harbor, the sealing vessels were still tied to the docks, and there was not a sealer in sight. We heard from a few sources that the ice was still too heavy for the boats to navigate, and the sealers would stay home for another day. So instead of filming slaughter, we visited the still pristine harp seal nursery. Our goal was to show the world exactly what these sealers are so determined to destroy. Our visit was among the best of my life. Shining sun reflected off the brilliant ice landscape. Ice formations surrounded us and the seals—creating a stunning landscape with hues of blues and purples. It was so warm that we could have worn t-shirts. The seal pups had shed their white fur, yet it was apparent to all that these were very much still babies. Just three weeks old, the pups were sleeping, sliding across the ice, or taking turns slipping into shallow pools of water, learning to swim. I immediately befriended one seal pup who was clearly very sleepy. He glanced up as I slipped onto the ice next to him and lay down, but he was not concerned about my presence at all.
As the sun beat down on us both, he fanned his flippers and then his eyes slowly closed. Soon, I began to drift away too, and within minutes my new seal friend and I were asleep in the sun. Occasionally, we would awake, and I would see him nuzzle the snow a bit or lazily scratch his nose with his flipper. We were just a foot apart, and he was utterly trusting and accepting of my presence. We spent this amazing day surrounded by dozens of intelligent, charismatic baby seals. After six hours with them, we all felt on top of the world. Finally, we had to go back, and we reluctantly got onto our helicopters. We made our way back to land—images of beautiful ice and happy seals filled our minds. But as we were making our way back to the town, we received a devastating phone call. The sealing boats were leaving the harbor. And they were headed directly for the seals we had just left. We raced back to the airport, feeling utterly miserable. It was absolutely unthinkable that these defenseless and wonderful pups could be slaughtered in front of us. We flew out at top speed to where the boats were, just a couple of miles from the harbor. My heart sank as we saw them navigating their way through the ice floes, with two coast guard vessels standing by, ready to help them. We looked at each other in panic. The utter helplessness of documenting a slaughter you are prevented by law from stopping—especially after having befriended its victims—is unbearable. But suddenly everything changed. We realized the sealing boats were headed in the wrong direction—they were turning back to port. The ice floes were still too heavy for them to get through, and they had to return. Our team cheered wildly from the air as the sealers stepped back on land, the baby seals safe for another day.”
"As we passed one large red vessel, we saw sealers jump off the side onto the ice. They ran towards a single live seal pup, hakapiks in hand. The pup, sensing danger, tried desperately to crawl towards the edge of the water. But the two men bearing down on her were faster. One sealer struck her on the side, then twice again on the head. He grabbed her hind flippers and pulled her back across the ice, stopping to club her twice more. He grabbed her front flipper and turned her over. But then the second sealer kicked the wounded pup with his boot. Seeing a reaction, he motioned to the first sealer, who clubbed her four more times on the head. Not to be outdone, the second sealer grabbed his hakapik and clubbed the baby seal once more. He flipped her over and began to cut her open -- only to roll her back over so the first sealer could club her three more times. This poor baby seal was clubbed thirteen times in total."

"10 NEWFOUNDLAND CANADIAN SEAL KILLERS FOUND GUILTY
IN PROVINCIAL COURT"
COURT DOCUMENTS SHOW INHUMANE CRIMINAL ACTS COMMITTED BY SEALERS
10 Sealers were convicted last week in Court for violating federal law and illegally killing baby seals. The sealers admitted to the crimes. In possibly what has been the longest trial in Canadian history, due to coverups, and unregulated fisheries officials turning a blind eye and attempting to get the criminals exonerated, a court judge finally laid down the law and convicted the men. Not only did the Sealers testify that they were aware of the regulations, they admitted to the fact that they knew what they were doing was wrong, and continued to do it anyway.
The convicted Canadian Sealers stated as their defense in court that DFO Fisheries Officers at the time had told them they would turn a blind eye to what they were doing, and that the hunt was essentially unregulated. "The failure of an investigative body to enforce a particular law during a particular time period does not constitute an excuse or justification for anyone who breached that law," the Judge wrote in a 39-page conviction ruling dated last Tuesday.
Investigations uncovered documents whereby each of the sealers names and signatures were uncovered on purchase sheets revealing that the Sealers had illegally killed baby seals, and were caught illegally attempting to sell the skins of the baby seals to seal processing plants. This long after the BAN on such activities was in effect.
The 10 Sealers in Newfoundland Canada have now been found guilty of violating Federal Law. The Seal Clubbers have been convicted of killing infant baby seals. In addition, they killed their pregnant mothers.
The following is direct testimony from sealers, taken by Department of Fisheries and Oceans staff.
It was obtained through Access to Information laws, and although the documents were never intended to be viewed by the public they were released under court order. The following contains graphic descriptions of animal cruelty. To date, seven charges have been laid as a result of the investigation, but only one had resulted in a court hearing.
"I did see some mother seals killed and the pup fall out on deck still alive. (Deleted by DFO) told me to throw it overboard and I did. It crawled up on a pan of ice. The mother was full of milk, the milk ran out on deck when the pup fell out."
Sealer's statement, taken by Cyril Furlong, Department of Fisheries and Oceans
SEALER'S WORDS: "During the second trip we left fifteen or twenty pups alone after taking the family. There were mistakes made by killing pregnant female hoods, this happened approximately six times but they never came out on deck. I am an experienced sealer so I knew they were pregnant. We were not saving the meat so the pup went over aboard with the carcass."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans
SEALER'S WORDS:"I seen a female being pelted and the pup came out of her when they cut her open, the pup was dead. This seal was killed for a while. This was on the day we got one hundred and seventy. Someone passed the comment, 'If Green peace were only here to see this.'"
Canadian Seal Hunter's statement, taken in Deposition by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 22, 15:15 hrs - Revealed through the Freedom of Access to Information Act.

Notes:* The use of 22 caliber rifles to shoot seals has been outlawed for humane reasons - the guns are not powerful enough to kill seals quickly.
* When mothers are killed and their newborn pups abandoned on the ice, there is no chance of survival for the pup. In every case, the baby seal would have starved to death slowly.
"Prior to March most females were killed with the pup inside them. I seen seven pups threw over the side after the female was pelted. I took two out myself. Me and another sealer even agreed that this was shocking and there should be another way to hunt seals. We were in the whelping on March 10 because I observed that eight of tens pans of ice had young pups with the after birth and other debris from the birth on the ice. There was once I can remember the young seal watching his parents being hoist aboard. He watched the boat as we steamed away. The pups were not killed but left by themselves on the ice."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 10
"I was present when female Hood seals were pelted and did see pups fall out of the female on deck. I seen this happen twice and know that it happened eight to ten times during the first trip. I knew this happened because of conversations with the crew. The two pups that I saw on deck were alive. The pups were threw over board and on one occasion I did see one of these pups swimming in the water. I don't know what happened to the pups."
Sealer's statement, taken by Cyril Furlong, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, July 3, 15:33 hrs

"We did take female Hoods and leave the pups on the ice. I was on deck when a pup fell out of a female Hood seals and I pelted the seal along with two other crewmembers. I can't recall who they were. The pup was alive when it fell out. I killed the pup and threw it over the side."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, July 6, 3:51 pm
"We were hunting for adult seals and on several times we took the old seals and left the pups on the ice. The Hood seals pupped while we were out there hunting. We did take seals before they had pups on one occasion. I did see a pup fall out on deck while the female was being pelted. This pup was alive and it was threw overboard. The pup was alive and swimming in the water. The pup crawled up on the ice."
Sealer's statement, taken by Cyril Furlong, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, July 6, 11:11 AM
"My job was pelting seals and using the gun. I was present when the female Hood was being pelted and young pup fell out of her onto the deck, This happened eight or ten times. There were lots of comments made for example, 'If we only had a video camera we would make a fortune' and 'We should never be allowed out killing them'"
"The seals were always in a net bag in the speed boat, when they were hoist on board there were numerous 22 caliber rifle casings among the seals. They were often kicking around the deck of the longliner, I seen the obser."
"There were lots of times that the male and female were killed and taken on board and the pup left on the ice, sometimes the pup had blood on it as it was just born. We had approximately five hundred and fifty seals for the trip, approximately four hundred were hood seals of which at least one hundred and fifty were females."
ver Rex Hodder pick them up and throw them over aboard. He had to know that the 22 guns were being used. They even make a different sound to the heavier gun. There was an effort to hide these guns from Rex Hodder. They were passed down through the vents in the engine room. They were kept in cases while in the two speed boats. We landed something over three thousand seals fro the trip. We got in somewhere around the 21st of April. I don't think that the 22 caliber rifle is powerful enough to kill even a beater seal. I often seen seals alive after we hoist the seals them out of the speed boats. We would finish them off with a hakapik."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 24, 19:40 hrs "All the females we took, the pups were left on the ice. The pup was left on the ice after the female was killed and taken on board."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, July 14
"Sometimes he told me to kill the male and female and sometimes to kill the male only. The pup was always left. It seemed he told me to kill everything when seals were scarce. Sometimes the seals were not that old because there was blood where they were born."
"At the end of the day everyone would lend a hand pelting seals. There were two or three cut out of the female while she was being pelted, they were killed and threw over aboard. There was a lot of talk as to weather this was right or a good thing to be doing. Everyone was aware of it."
"The best day we done, we took approximately one hundred and eighty. We wee taking make and females that day and this was towards the end of the trip. There were a lot of pups around and they were all left on the ice. The following day we killed some females that were accompanied by the male and pup."
"The four of us were present when the pups were cut out of the female, (deleted) were aware of this also. We had approximately eight hundred seals for the trip and about one quarter or better would be females."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, July 10, 19:15 hrs
"During the second trip we left fifteen or twenty pups alone after taking the family. There were mistakes made by killing pregnant female hoods, this happened approximately six times but they never came out on deck. I am an experienced sealer so I knew they were pregnant. We were not saving the meat so the pup went over aboard with the carcass."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, August 11, 16:50 hrs
"There were a few occasions when we took the male and female Hood seals and left the pup on the ice. I observed on two occasions for the trip pups falling out of the female while being pelted on deck. The two pups I observed were alive and were thrown over the side. I seen these pups crawl up on the ice after we threw them over aboard."
"I probably killed three to four hundred seals with the 22 caliber rifle. There was conversations between the skipper and myself and the crew to make an effort to hide the 22 rifles from the observer."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 29, 10:45 hrs
"After the females were pelted and pups fell out onto the deck the pups were thrown over the side. I did see a couple move around in the water behind the boat. They appeared to be alive and swimming. We watched a seal that came out of the old one on deck try to get up on a pan of ice. It did not get up to my knowledge. This did bother me to see seals flapping around in the water and trying to get up on the ice."
Sealer's statement, taken by Fergus Foley, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, June 28, 16:30 hrs
These few Newfoundland SealHunters were caught when investigators found records documenting their names on records showing they had tried to sell the ill-gotten skins peeled off the animals, to the Carino Corporation. Carino corporation is the slaughter and skin processing plant located in NewfoundlandCanada. Records found at the Canadian company revealed they had purchased multiple blue-back infant seal skins. Often to be turned into evening wear and dresses for wealthy debutantes and the fashion show uppercrust.
And how long did it take to get them in court? These offenses occurred in 1996. It is now 2009. To get just these 10 sealers out of over 5 thousand of them and thousands of violations like this, to face their crimes, took over 13 years, in possibly one of the longest trial cases in Canadian history. The DFO and government appointed Fisheries Ministers, like Gail Shea, condone, coddle, foment, and encourage these sealers. Either making insignificant 'token' arrests with fines of only 152 dollars, akin to getting a parking ticket, or overlooking violations altogether by the thousands in a poorly-regulated fiasco they call the seal hunt. If you could call it a hunt, the seals aren't running away, and the sealers are killing them & their babies in what is the seal's baby NURSERY area.) Finally, for 1 Judge, the dirt could not be swept under the rug by Sealers and negligent DFO or government officials any longer, and it was brought before a judge who when faced with the solidity of the evidence had no choice but to convict. 1 of them got free. Although his name was also found in the documents, it was on a separate sheet. So he is still out there.

European Officials Denied Access to Observe the HUMANE Seal Hunt by our Canadian Government >>GO
The world backs us to stop the Hunt:
against Canada’s Seal Hunt 2005 International Day of Protest
The Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), under the leadership of Fisheries Minister Gail Shea,
Activists in the U.S. continue to promote the Canadian seafood boycott and the Canadian tourism boycott. European activists have begun promoting these boycotts as well. All are welcome to use Harpseals.org's new
The season for the commercial harvest of harp and hooded seals is from November to June each year. The majority of sealing occurs in late March in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and in early April on the Front. The season for the subsistence harvest of ringed seals in Labrador is from April 16 to November 30, in the Magdelen Islands, the Quebec North Shore and in Western Newfoundland 30% of total on Ice flows east of Nfld.
Approximately 70% of the commercial harvest occurs on the Front in Newfoundland and Labrador, while about 30 % occurs in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
The value of the lives of the Canadian Seal, according to numbers taken from the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans states average market Value is just $14.00 CAD per Young Harp Seal Pelt. The Harp Seal has the highest market value. Although I could find no information on DFO site about the value of the pelts harvested from such as older seals, ringed, grey or hooded seals it is apparent that they could be estimated as low as $10.00, possibly less.
As per Regulations Set by Government Seals can be hunted and slaughtered at 2 weeks old
Young harp seals provide the most valuable pelts and market conditions are stronger for this type of pelt. Average market value for most valuable pelts is average $14.00 CAD, Highest value for Harp Seals was 2007 – 52.00 CAD.
Estimates from DFO, Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the province of Newfoundland and Labrador find that between 5,000 and 6,000 individuals derive some income from sealing. This is only approximately 1 per cent of the total provincial population, and 2 per cent of the labour force.
Mostly young seals are hunted, however it is illegal to kill white fur pups – seals must have molted their first coats, 14 or so days old and be living separately from their mother (THAT IS NOT FOLLOWED AS A RULE) in order to be hunted. Seal advocacy groups such as the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) say that the Canadian seal hunt is unethical and unsustainable. IFAW explains on its page “Top 3 seal hunting myths" that there are too many Sealers to watch over so severe abuses to the rules and regulations take place year after year. IFAW reports that with thousands of hunters competing for seals in a short period of time, seal clubbing is rushed and does not always deal a death blow.
For the hunters in rural Canada the seal hunt is a humane way to make a living; for animal advocates the seal hunt is needless, brutal slaughter. Roughly 6,000 hunters join the Canadian seal hunt each year and they are expected to kill seals according to Canadian rules.
Seals can be killed via rifle, shotgun, club, or hakapik - a type of club with a sharp hook on the end. The rules state, that Seals must be killed quickly via a blow to the head and hunters must triple check the death of the seal before skinning can take place. These rules are not followed a good majority of the time by many Sealer's.
Baby seals are sometimes skinned while still conscious or dragged alive via a hook across the ice.
Here quoted from DFO Canada's web site in FAQ
22. What should people do if they believe they have witnessed a violation of the rules that govern the seal harvest?
ANSWER: Individuals who believe they have witnessed an infraction to the Marine Mammal Regulations should bring any relevant information to the attention of their local Fisheries and Oceans Canada office. Alleged infractions are taken very seriously and investigated by DFO officers. The consequences of a violation to the Regulations can include court-imposed fines, and forfeiting of catches, gear, vessels and licenses.
I found the answer absurd. But I think the entire hunt is obcene, barbaric and centuries outdated, even if the regulations were obeyed by Hunters. How can we condone or participate in something like this, then refer to ourselves as the more intelligent & superior species? How superior you must be to impale the skull of a helpless cub or any animal for that matter !
I also found many contradicting answers & statements in their FAQ as compared to info in
other articles. See for yourself !

His life is worth so much more than $10
Seals can be killed via rifle, shotgun, club, or hakapik - or with a type of club with
a sharp hook on the end.
We need to make Steven Harper
and Fisheries Minister, Gail Shea
listen. This is not hunting for
survival this is disturbed
angry people brutalizing
defenseless
animals
Animals don't have a voice.
They need us to be their voice,
We can put a stop to this brutality and their suffering along with the Hunt forever!
We need to educate our friends and famillies on the
Canada's Seal Hunt. I know that it's graphic, disturbing, and not easy to look at. But you need to remember,
the Seals are going to continue to be hunted
in the ways that you've seen unless we tell people
so they join the fight against the hunt.

Write a simple email and send to Gayle Shea Minister of Fisheries at DFO. Tell her that you are a proud Canadian but are saddened and embaressed that Canada treats it's wildlife this way. That you support Ending
the Canadian Seal Hunt and exactly what you are thinking.
Keep it polite, and clean, it's better that way.
You could attach other info or pics for them to view.

We love our furry little friends & A.O.K. takes great precautions to avoid disturbing the natural habitat of different types of nests or accidentally causing stress or harm to any creature. If nests are discovered, if neccessary they are temporarily relocated and replaced after service is complete. We receive calls from time to time requesting to remove such nests by means of pressure washing or blasting them, although there may be animals or birds clearly occupying. We do not accept these service requests if nests are occupied.
Animals can't report abuse so please be their
voice against inhumaine acts.
AOK is a mobile and self contained high pressure cleaning operation.
We contain on board water, electricity and various electrical adapter
outlets, high powered lighting and all we need to keep you clean.
